Gilbert & Pardue is pleased to announce that Emma B. Kirchhofer has joined the company as Senior Financial & Strategy Analyst.

Ms. Kirchhofer brings over 15 years of experience across several business functions along with an accomplished earlier career in engineering. She specializes in analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends and anomalies in order to improve companies’ financial situations and strategic positions. Emma also possesses strong interpersonal skills and finds gratification in helping others achieve their goals.

Prior to joining Gilbert & Pardue, Ms. Kirchhofer’s notable work history included: International Tax Manager for Bray International, Inc., Senior Business Analyst for Shell Oil Company, and Senior Project Engineer for Exxon Company U.S.A. (now ExxonMobil).

In announcing Emma's role at GaP, Founding Partner Matt Gilbert said, “Gilbert & Pardue is best known for uniting Buyers and Sellers of privately-held businesses while facilitating transactions that meet the goals of both parties. We accomplish this through honest evaluation and feedback, proven marketing methods, focused negotiations, and structured processes. Emma offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in analyzing and interpreting data. These elements are critical when assessing companies to determine their market value and to leverage their story to bring the highest multiple in a sale event. We’ve already established a great working relationship with Emma and are excited to now have her talents in-house to better serve the needs of our clients.”

From Emma: “My role at GaP fits well with the skills, experience, and interests I have at this point in my career. My background includes data analysis, profit and process improvement, strategy, market analysis, and compliance management. ”

Emma has been married to her husband, Brad, for almost 30 years and together they have raised three sons. A daughter-in-law and another serious girlfriend have been added to the mix helping to balance out the female to male ratio! Emma is passionate about volunteering in the Houston community and currently serves as a Guild Member and volunteer for Making It Better, a non-profit that transforms the lives of under-served elementary children through literacy improvement and mentoring. Keenly analytical, Emma's friends and co-workers often comment on her attention to detail, meticulous nature, ability to see a problem from multiple perspectives, and reputation for looking past the surface of things to ask the "why" questions.

Emma holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
