Bret Pardue is the Founder and President of GaP Transaction Advisors (GaP).

With over 30 years of experience as Founder/Managing Partner/CEO/Owner of successful middle and lower middle market businesses, Bret offers extensive knowledge, business acumen and a vast amount of relevant experience to GaP clients considering a recapitalization of or exit from their business.

Mr. Pardue is passionate about working with business owners to unlock untapped value in their companies and then assisting them in converting that value into liquid wealth, usually through executing a well-designed transition strategy. His proven business evaluation and improvement techniques, combined with his experience as both a buyer and seller of middle and lower middle market businesses, provides GaP clients with the resources, expertise and deal-team leadership that is vital to achieving their goals.

As a principal and sell-side team leader of GaP, Bret has closed transactions having an aggregate value of more than $500,000,000. He also functions as an advisor and board member to several GaP clients.

Prior to co-founding GaP in 2016, Mr. Pardue was Co-Founder, President, and CEO of USA Environment, LP (USA). From 2005 through 2015, USA was a nationally recognized provider of industrial services and environmentally sensitive construction, remediation, demolition, radiological, and waste management services to manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, and midstream terminal and processing companies. Under his leadership, USA grew from a Houston, TX start-up in 2001 to over 400 employees, 7 operating locations, and more than $100M in annual revenues in 2015, the year he exited. During his tenure, Bret executed 8 tuck-in acquisitions and the sale of majority interest in USA to a private equity firm.

During the 1990s, Mr. Pardue founded, operated/managed, and successfully exited two small environmental services companies. Both were sold to publicly traded companies.

Mr. Pardue is father to 4 incredible children, and grandfather to 8 wonderful grandchildren (ages 2 through 10). His personal interests are serving those in need, socializing with family and friends, long weekends with his wife, exercise, and learning.

Mr. Pardue also serves the following charitable organizations in a variety of capacities – Literacy Now, The Restoration Team, and the Methodist Church – and is a regular contributor to Special Olympics, Amazing Place, and the American Alzheimer’s Association.
