During the height of the Covid 19 pandemic, Gilbert & Pardue sponsored a multi-semester virtual MBA internship program with the Schulich School of Business located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Founders Matt Gilbert and Bret Pardue, along with other GaP senior leaders, spent a significant amount of time mentoring and working with an International MBA team to help them develop their entrepreneurial M&A skills. The M&A Capstone Project objectives required a 9-month commitment by the students involved. In the process, the MBA team was allowed to fully engage and interact with various functions within GaP, observing how sell-side M&A transactions unfold from prospecting to closing and all points in between.
The Schulich School of Business is ranked among the leading business schools in the world for its global and innovative programs, along with its diverse student population. This school has been recognized by CNN, The Economist, and Forbes as being the #1 business school in Canada and is ranked in the top ten in the world among two-year MBA programs.
The GaP team members, clients, and trusted advisors who lent their expertise and guidance would like to congratulate the international students who participated in this Capstone Project, and we wish them continued success as they embark on the next steps of their career development.
