June 25, 2018

Gilbert & Pardue Business Advisors (GaP) is pleased to announce that Tom Matura has joined the firm as Senior Financial Advisor. In this role, Tom will utilize his 25+ years of accounting experience to help GaP’s clients achieve their financial, growth, and exit strategy goals. In Tom’s words: “I enjoy working hands-on with small and mid-sized public and privately-held businesses and look forward to having the opportunity to create many success stories for GaP clients.”

“We are very excited to have Tom join us,” said GaP Founding Partner Matt Gilbert. “His unique experiences with M&A integration and accounting bring an understanding of what buyers will value when making strategic acquisitions. By helping business owners with 1- to 3-year exit horizons get their books, processes, and financial systems in order, GaP team members are entrenched in executing strategies that increase multiples upon the sale of a business. Having previously worked with Tom, we know he elevates our strengths in this area.”

Mr. Matura’s career has provided him numerous opportunities to guide business owners and their management teams in areas such as operational efficiencies, process improvements, strategic growth, accounting analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and more. He has spent his time helping clients focus on turning financial data into management tools in order to achieve growth goals. His specialties also include IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and transactional services in the energy services, communications, and manufacturing industries.

Tom’s recent experience includes serving as Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) for a water logistics company that was privately held and pursuing an S1 Registration.
